Bangor

We made it to Bangor yesterday afternoon around 3:30. The train ride was long, but it was a really pretty ride. For a lot of the time, we rode along the coast. The University of Bangor is really beautiful. Just outside of my flat, I can see mountains, hills, and valleys for miles. And the weather here has been great so far! The campus and buildings remind a lot of us of Harry Potter, which is ironic because supposedly the library here is where J.K. Rowling found inspiration. We checked into our flats, then took a short tour of the campus, followed by dinner at the Fat Cat. The flat is super nice. Everything is really new and it's very spacious. We also are all living in one flat, which will be fun. The staff here is really great! We met two of the program coordinators last night at dinner. We met Tecwyn, our director, and Molly, the student mentor at the train station. I'm excited to see what these next two weeks in Bangor will bring!
 A raised shower! So excited!
